Canonical kicked off the new year in style. Ubuntu One client for Android and Windows platforms were released some months ago and finally the iOS version is also here. Ubuntu One is now a truly multi-platform cloud storage service like Dropbox for example.
Ubuntu One Files for iOS
Long awaited Ubuntu One Files app for iOS is now ready for download in the iTunes app store. Ubuntu One Files Android app has been downloaded hundreds and thousands of times already from Android Market and still enjoys a 4.4 rating. Hope the Ubuntu One Files iOS app also fares well in terms of quality and usefulness.
There is more. Ubuntu will be officially present at CES 2012, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, and will showcase Ubuntu One along with Ubuntu OS. All in all, it seems like 2012 is going to be a pretty busy year for Canonical and Ubuntu, for good.
